School Notes:

  • Adirondack, is not just a hodgepodge of wonderful children, scenic beauty, athletic fields and professional staff. Adirondack is a Great Summer Camp that seeks to inspire the twin values of individualism and community in all its campers. Adirondack does this by providing young people with a sense of purpose, freedom of selection, simple pleasures, and respect for one's beliefs and all things living.
  • Responding to feedback from kids and parents, we are now offering new program options specifically designed for senior (13-16 yrs old) campers, as well as a new Ranger Program for 17 yr olds. Options include an outdoor oriented Adventure Program, an advanced activity Challenge Program, or the traditional Camp Program.
  • 17 year-olds are invited to apply for the Rangers2 Program which will emphasize in-camp training and development of leadership, counseling, coaching, conflict resolution and management skills in a summer camp setting.
  • Our program is designed to create an environment which allows each camper to develop a strong sense of self and confidence. Each activity is carefully broken down by skills components. Our well trained, certified staff guide our campers, in small groupings, at individual pace and skill levels. Each step along the way is rewarded. Campers are encouraged to take healthy steps outside their immediate comfort zones and have lots of fun at the same time.
