School Notes:
- Hidden Valley's roots are in the movement of progressive children's communities. Over the years, we have built on this history with a commitment to quality and professionalism, and a deep sensitivity to individual needs and group life. HVC has no rifles, uniforms, or color war. Our non-competitive, non-sectarian community provides individualized attention to all campers in a structured yet unpressured atmosphere.
- Professional instructors, caring and creative staff, and quality equipment enable us to achieve our high programming standards. Campers choose four one-hour periods of class instruction every two weeks. They are free to create, explore and set goals in any of these programs. Parents may let us know their wishes prior to the summer and we will help design camper programs.
- Two-hundred and ninety boys and girls ages 8 to 13, from far and wide, attend each session. Over the years, Hidden Valley has hosted children from 50 countries. Campers come from throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, Florida, and as many as 15 other states each summer.
