- Ojai Valley School is an independent coeducational boarding & day school. To accommodate this school philosophy, every effort is made to create an atmosphere for students and faculty that is conducive to learning and growing through the framework of a warm family environment.
- Ojai Valley School is a fully accredited school and camp. However, the school where the student is enrolled for the academic year will determine acceptance of credit for summer classes taken. Ojai Valley School also offers world-renowned summer programs for International students. The ESL Summer Program is a part of the OVS Summer Camp during the months of June and July. Ojai Valley School offers extensive summer riding program for different ages and levels of experience.
- The Camp Program provides children with a relaxed summer school and camp experience. Young campers have a unique opportunity to make new friends and interact in an international environment. The combined academic and activity structure provides an opportunity to reinforce academic skills or preview classes. The program helps to prepare campers for their upcoming school year without the homework.
- Morning classes take place Monday through Friday with off-campus excursions on most weekends. All classes are graded. Transcripts of grades, teachers' comments, and course descriptions will be sent to the student's home.
