Summer Discovery is 8 distinct pre-college enrichment programs located at UCLA, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, University of Vermont, University of Michigan, Georgetown University, Cambridge University, England and University of Sydney, Australia
- You will participate in an academic program that combines college credit and/or non-credit classes, social activities, creative programming, travel, recreation and sports. Summer Discovery provides you with the chance to make new friends and experience pre-college living and learning before actually attending college. It will help you achieve in high school and prepare for college.
- Students choose from dozens of enrichment and/or college credit classes on each campus designed to expand horizons and sharpen skills. Courses are challenging, but not overwhelming, and usually require some out of class preparation. Most classes are small and stress interactive, experiential learning. Enthusiastic professors, teachers, and academic support staff make learning meaningful, exciting, and fun.
