  • SU's summer programs provide the perfect opportunity for high school students to get a taste of college in the actual areas being considered as majors and future professions.
  • Courses are currently available in any of three diverse program categories: Liberal Arts Program - one can choose two Arts & Sciences classes that interest you, and share classrooms with regular college students. Pre-Professional Programs - students can take one course especially designed for Summer College students in either Engineering and Computer Science, Law, Management, Forensic Science, or Public Communications, and select a second, complementary course from among the liberal arts offerings.
  • Studio Arts Programs - students will earn six credits in one of the following areas - Acting & Musical Theater, Architecture, Art & Design, Technical Theatre, and Fashion and Textile Design - and spend a substantial part of each day at work in the studio.
  • Summer College students have access to Syracuse University recreational facilities, including sports fields and courts, gyms with workout equipment, game rooms, a pool, and an ice skating rink. Social activities include movie nights, roller and ice skating, dances, talent shows, picnics, pool parties, and trips to amusement parks, state parks, beaches, museums, and concerts.
  • The Summer College staff consists of a group of dedicated, caring professionals who are committed to creating an atmosphere that provides an enriching blend of the academic challenge and social interaction associated with university life.
