For nearly a century, students from Rome, neighboring towns in Georgia, and an average of 24 states and international students from an average of 16 countries, have joined the Darlington family each year.
- Darlington's proven track record in preparing students well for college, its serenely beautiful, 500-acre campus, its impressive facilities and wide array of academic, artistic, athletic, and social opportunities. But more significant are the friendly spirit of the School and its long history of inspiring students to take full advantage of their God-given gifts and to grow intellectually, spiritually, morally, physically, culturally, and socially.
- Major campus facilities utilized by campers include the Kawamura Science Center with classroom and laboratory facilities; Porter Hall containing the dining hall; Syndenham Hall with administrative offices, bookstore, and post office; Zelle Fine Arts Building which houses art, drama, and music studios; Wilcox, South, Trippeer, and Persons halls which contain camp housing; the Old Gym; the A. J. Huffman ’67 Memorial Athletic Center with a natatorium, performance gym, three basketball practice courts, indoor track, large wrestling and weight room, and extensive locker space; stadium for football and track; soccer field complex; baseball, softball, lacrosse, and football practice fields; cross-country courses; and a 12-court tennis complex.
- Whether you’re a first time camper interested in sports or a seasoned outdoor enthusiast looking for your next adventure, Darlington Summer Camps has the camp for you! Darlington offers six day camps for boys and girls ages 2 – 14, and six overnight camps for boys and girls ages 10 – 16. All of our camps our directed by experienced teachers and coaches; our food is the best in the business; and our campus includes 500 acres of woods, fields, and water!
